IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

@realrogue1717, @reoracer, and I have a HUGE project in mind, but we can't do it without you.

We need anyone who will be attending an Idol Live show this summer to tweet me (@ColtonFacts) which concert you will be at, if you have VIP passes or not, and what date the concert is on.

We're planning a scavenger hunt type thing for Colton and we need at least one person who will be attending each show to help us out!

This will ONLY work if we have enough people to help us out!

Messenger Prayer List Announcement

Hey Messengers! It's time for the BIG announcement to be made! Thank you all for waiting a little longer for this post (I was having some trouble with it).

Starting today, I'll be starting a Messenger Prayer List! This will only work with YOUR help!

What it is: You guys will send in any prayer requests (no matter how big or small) that you have to me via email. Then, I'll put all of the requests that were submitted into a list along with any other updates that need attention brought to them.

I'll then send the list out to everyone who is subscribed to receive the email updates! This way, all of our Messenger family will know what and who to pray for. And this is not JUST for Messengers, ANYONE can submit a request or be subscribed to the list! I'll send the emails out periodically depending on how many I receive and how urgent the request is.

To sign up, send an email with the subject line 'I'd Like To Subscribe' to this email address: messengerprayerlist@hotmail.com

In the email, please add your full name or your twitter name so I know who you are and who to say the request was from.

To send prayer requests in, send them with the subject line, 'Request', to the same email: messengerprayerlist@hotmail.com

There is no limit on how many requests you can submit!

Colton Elimination Interviews and Videos

Hey everyone. As of now, everyone knows what happened last Thursday night; our American Idol was voted off of the show. I know that this came as a shocker to many people, me included. I'm not sure how it happened, but I do trust that God has a plan for Colton and that he will go very, very far. Below are some links to interviews, videos, and articles that Colton has appeared in since being eliminated. Most of them go more in depth about what his plans are for the future and how he is taking the elimination. Be aware that these are not all of the interviews that he is in, just some that I particularly liked.

I would also like to let everyone reading this know that I do not approve of the word Colton used on the Live! with Kelly show. I know that some people are probably like, "what word?" or "that's not a bad word", but to me I consider it a cuss word. I don't feel it was right of him to use the word since he always talks about being a Christian and how much he loves God. Some people, like myself, who do consider it a cuss word could be turned off. I think he could have made a much better decision about his wording.

And, Colton, if you ever see this (which I know there is little chance that you will), I'm not mad about it, I'm just disappointed. I do know that some people don't consider it a bad word at all and use it in every day speech, but I (and many other people) consider it a bad word. I don't think Colton's status should make him think that he can let certain words slip, which I do NOT believe is the case. To the best of my knowledge, Colton doesn't cuss or take the Lord's name in vain ever. In my opinion, he probably doesn't consider it to be a bad word and he probably does use it frequently, but I also don't think he goes around cussing his head off either. Enough of that, Colton, I'm not mad I just don't think it was the right word. I still support you and always will. #Messenger4LIFE <3

Colton Shares a Secret...

Hey Messengers! As a few of you may already know, Colton shared a secret with all of his Messengers on FaceBook yesterday! To see the video he posted, click the picture taken from the video below. I am actually really excited about what he had to say! I'm also very proud of him for singing "Everything" on Idol last Wednesday. He really is a Messenger for God!

Lexi Kelson Cover of "Shelter"

Hey Messengers! Boy do I have an exciting post for you! You may not have heard of her yet, but you'll all know her name soon! Lexi Kelson (15) posted a cover of Colton Dixon's "Shelter" on YouTube a few days ago and man is it AMAZING! Lexi says she first saw the song on YouTube and she thought it was absolutely beautiful. She really loved the lyrics and the message behind it. "God really is our shelter when the rain falls!" she says.

Lexi says she likes to sing other genres of music including pop/alternative/indie type songs. She also loves songs with a lot of feeling!
